Some wedding days have a way of reminding me exactly why I love what I do, and Taylor and Matt’s was absolutely one of them.

Surrounded by their closest family and friends at Terrain at Styer’s in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, these two created a day that felt completely and genuinely them; beautiful without feeling overly formal, intentional without taking itself too seriously, and filled with the kind of joy you simply can’t manufacture.

From the beginning, I felt so connected to Taylor’s energy. She carried this wonderfully carefree, present attitude throughout the entire day. She wasn’t worried about everything being “perfect”—she was there to marry Matt, celebrate with their people, eat incredible food, and soak in every second of it. And honestly, that energy became the heartbeat of the entire wedding.

Even when a little rain decided to make an appearance, there was no question that the ceremony would continue outside. Out came the umbrellas, everyone settled in, and somehow the rain only made the entire thing feel even more intimate. One of my favorite moments was Taylor’s brother singing during the ceremony—an incredibly personal and beautiful addition that made an already emotional moment feel that much more special.

And then there was the celebration.

Taylor and Matt clearly love their people deeply, and you could feel that love returned to them all day long. Between the laughter, incredible food, heartfelt moments and a dance floor that absolutely came alive, their reception felt less like a perfectly orchestrated wedding and more like one giant celebration with everyone they love most.

Visually, Terrain was the perfect backdrop for it all. The lush greenery, hanging lanterns, candlelight, organic florals and warm, intimate tablescape complemented the effortless feeling of the day beautifully. But some of my favorite photographs aren’t necessarily the perfectly styled details—they’re Taylor running through the property holding up her dress, the umbrellas scattered throughout the ceremony, her bridesmaids laughing around her, the ridiculous faces during wedding-party photos, and the way she and Matt looked at each other when everything else seemed to disappear.

Those are the moments that tell the story.

Taylor and Matt, thank you for allowing me into such a joyful little piece of your lives. Your wedding was romantic, hilarious, emotional, slightly rainy, wildly fun and so incredibly full of love.
