Noelle and Bradley’s NYE Wedding at Aldie Mansion

I’ll need to preface the fact that when Noelle reached out to me, it was about 5-6 months BEFORE the actual big day; not because she was behind rather because she took on the challenge and task of planning her dream wedding in that short amount of time. After our first call, she had such a clear vision of what she wanted it to look like, the vibe she wanted to portray, and how she envisioned her day to flow - right away, I knew this was going to be a really special wedding to document!

Noelle’s intentions with the day was very candid, calm, and meaningful. We talked through the standard and traditional moments us photographers photograph and one-by-one she expressed her thoughts intentionally and honestly. She didnt want a lot of emphasis on the getting ready and wanted it to feel as if I really was a fly on the wall; that led into her first look with Bradley and even throughout portraits and wedding party photos. They both really fell in love with the art deco, romantic vibes Aldie Mansion expresses so we utilized a lot of time indoors to accentuate the natural beauty of the building (plus, it was freezing, so.. win win!)

Something that really stuck out when working with Noelle and Bradley is not just that they had a clear vision, but they were open and trusting to how I could execute it. It made it feel like this was a true collaboration. It allowed me to be as creative as I wanted to be but also giving them the platform and space to say their peace in what they want and dont want. I may say this a lot, and if we ever have the privilege of chatting during an inquiry call, I mention that every couple is very unique and so would be their wedding - its definitely not a one-size-fits-all despite the typical standard of how your day flows. You should have the space to communicate things that you really want us to emphasize one, and things that are not as important. Every gallery is custom-tailored that way!

Noelle and Bradley’s task to plan a wedding in such a short time absolutely truly paid off - just scroll down to take a peak and you’ll see! Sometimes, you dont need a ton of time to plan - enjoy!
