Zoe + Josh’s classic ‘Old City’ Wedding
If I could give one word for Zoe and Josh’s wedding, it would be the word: Easy.
I mean this in the absolute best way possible. My whole time communicating with Zoe over the last year has been ‘easy’. Working on her detailed timeline has been ‘easy’. Making sure their needs were met were ‘easy’. Even leading up to the big day, everything we planned had gone exactly as it should; so yea.. ‘easy’! I will be the first to admit that I get a bit of anxiety before every wedding. It’s a big day and a lot of pressure riding on our shoulders as photographers! So adding the anxiety to a city wedding, phew - times that by 10! But, my nerves were so calm even the morning of. Zoe and Josh had an amazing team of vendors backing them up and we ALL had the same goal in mind: to make their day the best day ever! (‘easy’). The second I saw that gorgeous face walking into her hotel room, I knew the day would be a blast, and let me tell you it sure was!
Zoe and Josh were living in NYC at the time of booking but both being Temple U Alum, they wanted the essence of the old city in their photos. Thankfully, their venue is walking distance to so many wonderful spots! We chose the 18th century gardens and the First Bank of United States steps for the majority of her photos. Both spots were so lovely to photograph at! If all of my 2023 weddings could be this ‘easy’, I know I am in for an incredible year!! Thank you Zoe and Josh for trusting my talents and expertise to make your day that much better - I loved being apart of it with you and your crew!
