Samantha + Greg’s New Hope Engagement
Oh, Sam and Greg!
It was such a blast hanging out with them last summer for their engagement session. These two are getting married at a true gem of a location right in the heart of Bucks County—the Pearl S. Buck Estate (which also happens to be one of my favorite venues in the area!). As you can probably tell, these two are just adorable, and Greg could not stop making Sam giggle—which, if you know me, is one of my absolute favorite things to photograph!
Sam and Greg wanted a location that really felt like “quintessential Bucks County,” so we landed on the New Hope, PA / Lambertville, NJ area. If you’re not familiar, these charming towns are separated by the Delaware River, offering endless photo spots and little hidden nooks. We definitely got our steps in that day—let me tell you!
We started between Stella and the Bucks County Playhouse, where there’s a beautiful patch of blooming florals and lush landscaping. Then we wandered through the streets of New Hope to a little nook with Crepe Myrtle—those shades of pink are my kryptonite! Next up, we strolled along the canal on the New Hope side, where we found lovely light and a stunning weeping tree that made the perfect backdrop.
Of course, no trip is complete without heading to the Lambertville side of the canal—it’s just so pretty over there! The bridge connecting the two towns is iconic, though during our session it was under construction (but still accessible by foot!). One of my favorite hidden gems in Lambertville is right off Coryell Street by the old King Bread Factory—it’s always a go-to for me, and never disappoints.
Sam and Greg will be tying the knot this summer at Pearl S. Buck, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It’s going to be an unforgettable day, and I truly cannot wait to share more!
I hope you enjoy a peek into their engagement session just as much as I enjoyed photographing it. Enjoy!
