Megan and John tied the knot on a classic late-November Saturday at one of my all-time favorite venues, The Inn at Barley Sheaf in Furlong, PA. Nestled in picturesque Bucks County, this venue was the perfect choice for the couple, who wanted a location close to both of their families—Megan hailing from Bucks County and John from Princeton. Though they now live in New York, their decision to celebrate at this charming inn, restaurant, and wedding venue truly captured the rustic elegance of the area. With its stunning views and quintessential Bucks County farm vibes, it’s always a privilege to work there.

Megan was the epitome of an organized and thoughtful bride, knowing exactly what she wanted while maintaining an easy-going nature that made collaboration a breeze. Creating a custom timeline with her was a dream! One of my favorite parts of the planning process is asking couples, “What are your favorite spots at the venue for photos?” It’s such a great way to involve them while allowing room for creative freedom. Megan’s selections were spot on: the rustic barn, the front of the inn (a must!), the metal gazebo, and the timeless tree-lined driveway. Each spot had its own charm, and I was thrilled to make her vision come to life.

Megan and John opted for a pre-ceremony photo session, which allowed them to enjoy their cocktail hour—a thoughtful decision that made the day flow seamlessly. Their ceremony took place in one of the most breathtaking churches I’ve ever had the honor of photographing, located in the heart of Doylestown, PA. After their heartfelt, traditional ceremony, we returned to The Inn just in time to capture the glowing golden hour light—absolutely magical!

The reception kicked off with Megan and John’s lively choreographed first dance, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. This was followed by some of the most fun and spirited parent dances I’ve seen yet! The rest of the night was spent on the dance floor, where the energy never wavered. It was truly a celebration to remember.

Megan and John, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to document such a joyful and meaningful day. It was an absolute honor to be part of your celebration!
